Questions
What is Rowsafe?
The database admin you never hired. Rowsafe saves every change so you can restore to any second, tests a restore every week, watches your database and fixes problems when you click, and undoes an AI agent's mistakes. For PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB and 7 more.
Rowsafe Cloud or my own server: what's the difference?
On your own server (a VPS, bare metal or Docker), you keep running the server and Rowsafe adds the backups, checks and fixes: one command to install, free for one server. With Rowsafe Cloud, there's no server to run: Rowsafe creates it for you, from $10 a month billed by the hour, with every feature and backup storage included, no plan needed. You get the dashboard and connection details, not SSH, and can move to your own server anytime. MongoDB, Redis and SQLite run on your own server only. In between, Rowsafe BYOC creates the server in your own Hetzner, DigitalOcean, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, OVHcloud or Vultr account: your cloud bills it and you keep root.
What's free?
Rowsafe on one server you run, up to 3 databases, with every feature and 10 GB of Rowsafe Storage for backups (or your own bucket). Your host still bills you for the server. Pro is $39 a month for 5 servers. A Rowsafe Cloud server is paid by the hour, Rowsafe included, and doesn't use up your free server.
Will it change my database on its own?
No. On your servers, nothing changes until an owner or admin clicks and confirms. On Rowsafe Cloud, where we run the server, security updates install without restarting the database, and restarts happen in the weekly window you pick.
Do I need to know databases?
No. Rowsafe says what's wrong and what each fix does in plain words, so you can decide without being a database admin.
Can Rowsafe read my data?
No. Backups are encrypted on your server with a key only you hold.
