Questions
Is it the same hardware?
Yes, when you pick DigitalOcean: Rowsafe Cloud creates a DigitalOcean server in the region you choose. Or pick Hetzner, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, OVHcloud or Vultr.
What changes at DigitalOcean in October 2026?
From 15 October 2026 for new accounts, and 30 November for everyone, new Standard Edition clusters are limited to 4 GiB and can't add standby nodes. Bigger sizes and standbys move to the Advanced Edition, from $130 a month.
Can I move from DigitalOcean Managed Databases?
Yes. Move in keeps a copy in sync while your app keeps running, then switches over.
